That’s something British and topless under the tarp. Not pictured in the street parked mid 90s legacy wagon and a Dodge intrepid. BMW is a 735.

That’s an awesome collection ! Have you ever had a chance to talk to this neighbor?

I wish I could get a pic of my neighbor Richard’s collection, but almost all of them are under covers or tarps. He’s got 4 Saab’s (900, 900 cabrio, 900 turbo, and a 9-3x Aero), an Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate Edition, a Fiero GT, a 70 Camaro with a Big Block, some kind of blocky van (a Delica or Vanogan or something along those lines). He also has an early 2000s Grand Cherokee and a similar vintage Corolla, I think those are the DDs for him and his gf.

Awesome collection!

I said hi once, and he's definitely a car guy. Didn't ask if the 300z was turbo or not

That’s cool.

My neighbor brings the Alfa to Katie’s from time to time, or at least he was back when that was happening. The one time I’ve really stopped to talk to him, he was talking about selling his Camaro.  My mullet sense was tingling. Wonder if he’d consider a Volvo 850 for a trade...

I’ve probably mentioned this a few too many times but this guy has quite an enviable collection.

Kinja'd!!!

He showed me around once. Mostly many high performance Mercedes of all eras but he’s got some other cool stuff tucked away including a vintage Ford COE Firetruck, some sort of Triumph, an Alfa Romeo Spyder, An old Jag S type with a contemporary E type engine stuffed in it, and a first gen Datsun pickup that would have been one of the first off the boat.

Other than that, my neighborhood is not too interesting for carspotting. A few classic Beetles and vans here a VW Thing there, a Honda Del Sol there, and that one person with some vintage European cars under tarps.

Im not too much a classic car guy, but those Mercedes on the right are my exception. Such handsome cars

Aha! Time to play my favourite game, rate the Z32!

AH3 (Cherry Red Pearl) 2+2 targa non-turbo. I don’t dig the “brazillian” look at all, this car was meant to have a spoiler, though IIRC some US cars came like that from factory so I can’t quite blame the owner. Could that be a little Nissan logo on the moustache indicating it’s a ‘90? The paint is looking tired, the bumper needs painting and that dent behind the door is a very expensive fix. The weather stripping needs replacing in a few sections, the front wheel is on backwards. Missing both Z center caps that I can see. It’s not modified, but the condition is poor and that’s a bit sad. The presence of pinstriping, moustache and the black mirror surround suggests this car hasn’t seen a respray, though the shitty paint on the bumper suggests that part has (contrary to the moustache).

Has a number of issues I can’t see ever getting repaired, and is not a desirable configuration. I reckon it’s not far off being a parts car, and will never be restored to glory.
